|Behold, my best Deviation (according to me )|
Adventures with Shellshock: Hardshelled MiracleOnce I healed my team healed up, I headed south down Silence Bridge towards Fuchsia City. The pokemon I ran into back when I got my Thunder Badge was still sleeping in the middle of the path, and it had probably not moved since I first saw it. Luckily, the Pokéflute Mr. Fuji gave me worked like it was supposed to...probably a little too well, since the Snorlax woke up attacked me! Lucky for me, it was still groggy enough for Shellshock to take on. A few Great Balls later, Narcolepsy was a part of the family.Adventures with Shellshock: Hardshelled Miracle by Ichiyama22
Routes 12, 13, 14, and 15 weren't to hard to traverse. Just a bunch of trainers that helped to toughen the team up. I decided to take the opportunity to fill up my Pokédex a little more with any new species I could find. It's weird how filling up the Pokédex, the one reason I left Pallet Town in the first place, has become the least of my concerns at this point...anyway, I did find a few new species to catch.
Once I got to Fushcia City, I found some place called the
Adventures with Shellshock: Cross all the streams!So...Erika was a Gym Leader. Not very challenging, but a Gym Leader. Frankly, Horus was all I really needed to clean house with the entire Gym, with Herbert occasionally backing him up. Honestly, it was a bit of a letdown, especially after battling Giovanni and the Kangas-demon. Anyway, I earned my Rainbow Badge, so next stop is Fuchsia City.Adventures with Shellshock: Cross all the streams! by Ichiyama22
I was going to take the Bike Path, but there was a sleeping pokémon like the one I saw on Route 12 blocking the path. And just like on Route 12, it was impossible to wake up or move. When I went back to the pokémon center to get some help, I overheard some people saying how a Pokéflute can wake up any sleeping pokémon. I figured anything was worth a try, and asked them where I could get one. It was a question I instantly regretted when they told me that the only place they knew to get one was in Lavender Town...
So after flying on Horus to this bone-chilling town, I learned that the guy with the flute was named Mr. Fuji
Adventures with Shellshock: Casino ChaosAfter making a quick trip to Lavender Town's market, I headed to the eastern gate of Saffron. But surprise surprise, the road was closed and the guard was griping about being thirsty. I swear, it's like Saffron City itself is shut off! Well, I ended up having to take the Underground Path to Celadon City. It was a little annoying, but totally worth it when I reached the town. I had never seen such a huge city before! It's definitely a lot fancier than tiny little Pallet Town.Adventures with Shellshock: Casino Chaos by Ichiyama22
The first place I went to was the giant Department Store. Mom always said she wanted to come to this town to shop, and now I can see why. I've never seen a Mart this big, or had this extensive a selection. Every floor was like it's own store, and sold different stuff. There was even a selection of evolutionary stones on one floor, so I bought a Thunder Stone for Tesla and a Leaf Stone for Nepenthes. So now I have a Raichu and a Victreebel, and they are glorious.
After I got done with my shopping, I found some
I'm thinking of starting to do paid commissions. Like for money. I'm still trying to figure out how I'd price, and what I'd put up for sale...I'd like to think my work is good enough that I could make some money off of it...
